Snell & Amp; Wilmer Expands Nevada Office With Addition Of Six Lawyers

LAS VEGAS and RENO – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce the addition of six attorneys in the Nevada offices.

Casey J. Stiteler joins the Reno office as a partner in the firm’s real estate practice group. His practice focuses on real estate transactions and land use planning issues relating to the development of residential, commercial and multi-family properties. Stiteler received his JD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law and his BA from the University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, he was a partner at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLC.

Sarah B. Lee joins the Reno office as a partner where she focuses her practice on complex commercial, civil and commercial litigation. She has represented large multinational corporations in a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer products, industrial gases, manufacturing and mining. Lee received his JD from Brooklyn Law School and his BA from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, she was a legal clerk for the Second Judicial District Court, Department 14 and a partner at Linklaters LLP.

Erin M. Gettel joins the Las Vegas office as a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, she was Assistant Federal Public Advocate for the District of Nevada, where she represented clients from their initial appearance through conviction and, in some cases, direct appeal. She also served as law clerk to the Honorable Jennifer A. Dorsey, United States District Judge for the District of Nevada. Gettel holds a JD from the University of Nevada, the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, and a BA from Michigan State University.

Christian P. Ogata joins the Las Vegas office as a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Jennifer A. Dorsey, United States District Judge for the District of Nevada. Additionally, Ogata is a former summer partner of Snell & Wilmer. He holds a JD from the University of Nevada, the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, and a BA from UNLV.

Abigail L. Pace joins the Las Vegas office as a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She received her JD from Stanford Law School and her BA from Brigham Young University. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, she was a Paralegal at Armstrong Teasdale LLP and Outside Legal Officer in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Nevada District. Pace also worked as a press secretary for the United States House of Representatives Judiciary Committee and as deputy director of communications for Representative Lamborn in the United States House of Representatives.

Kristen D. Matteoni joins the Reno office as an associate in the Private Client Services practice group. His practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, business entities and transactions, as well as trust and estate litigation. She received her JD from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and her BA from Wagner College. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Matteoni was a partner at Maupin, Cox & LeGoy and also worked as a legal clerk to the Honorable Justice Mark Gibbons at the Supreme Court of Nevada.
