Proposed by SCJ Alliance
SC.J. Alliance opened its eleventh office in fall 2021, this one in Butte, Montana. Operating as SCJ Studio, the new location is downtown at 1807 Florence Ave.
“We were excited to move to Butte and were welcomed with open arms by this wonderful, tight-knit community,” says SCJ Studio Manager Mark Garff. Garff said he sees huge potential in Butte-Silver Bow and southwestern Montana.
SCJ is already working on the Butte Parks Master Plan with WET Design and Butte-Silver Bow County, a feasibility study for the Our Lady of the Rockies Gondola Project with Butte Local Development Corporation, and commercial landscapes and residential garden designs for private clients throughout Montana.
The Butte SCJ team currently includes two licensed landscape architects and a designer. “The great thing about our business is the variety of services we can offer,” Garff said. “All members of a project team may not be located in Butte, but we have worked together for years, collaborating seamlessly across disciplines and offices, with tremendous results.
SCJ’s landscape architecture team has a rich portfolio of projects spanning residential gardens and site development, public campuses and urban spaces, parks and pathways, streetscapes and urban design, and ecological restoration.
SCJ Alliance is a 100% employee-owned company with offices in Washington, Montana and Colorado. We have experts in transport design, environmental and urban planning, public awareness, construction management, civil engineering and cable transport, such as gondolas.
